October 2018 – AES (SCOTLAND) LTD recently installed a bespoke 6m wide cantilever sliding gate with matching pedestrian gate and infill panel, on an architect designed cantilevered home. The gate was designed to follow the gradient of the entrance. This posed a few challenges in the design process, but the end result was a gate that compliments the building nicely. The gate was clad with the same Siberian Larch that was used to clad the building. The overall project is now nearing completion.
